Geological Society of America (due Feb. 1). Average awards $1750. Must be GSA member. Non-U.S. citizens eligible.

Fellowships and Programs


NSF Graduate Fellowships: 3 year research fellowships. For both MS and PhD students. EPA National Center for Environmental Research STAR fellowships for MS and PhD students conducting environmental research. (Application period July - Oct).

The NSF Summer Institutes in Asia and Australia program:
